To date, ALL tests by the Town, many of which were conducted just last year, have registered the presence of banned synthetic pesticides.<\/span><\/p>\n [\/vc_column_text][\/qode_elements_holder_item][\/qode_elements_holder][vc_empty_space height=”40px”][qode_elements_holder number_of_columns=”two_columns” columns_proportion=”25_75″][qode_elements_holder_item advanced_animations=”no”][vc_single_image image=”897″ alignment=”center” qode_css_animation=””][\/qode_elements_holder_item][qode_elements_holder_item advanced_animations=”no”][vc_column_text]<\/p>\n Some of the products detected have been banned in Quebec for residential lawn care for more than 15\u00a0years<\/b>.<\/span><\/p>\n [\/vc_column_text][\/qode_elements_holder_item][\/qode_elements_holder][vc_empty_space height=”40px”][qode_elements_holder number_of_columns=”two_columns” columns_proportion=”25_75″][qode_elements_holder_item advanced_animations=”no”][vc_single_image image=”898″ alignment=”center” qode_css_animation=””][\/qode_elements_holder_item][qode_elements_holder_item advanced_animations=”no”][vc_column_text]<\/p>\n When the Town detects a prohibited pesticide on a homeowner\u2019s lawn, the latter will be informed by registered mail, in accordance with a procedure in place since last year.<\/p>\n [\/vc_column_text][\/qode_elements_holder_item][\/qode_elements_holder][vc_empty_space height=”40px”][qode_elements_holder number_of_columns=”two_columns” columns_proportion=”25_75″][qode_elements_holder_item advanced_animations=”no”][vc_single_image image=”899″ alignment=”center” qode_css_animation=””][\/qode_elements_holder_item][qode_elements_holder_item advanced_animations=”no”][vc_column_text]<\/p>\n The tests are carried out in a ministry lab and the Town refers any violations in the Pesticides Management Code<\/i> to the relevant authorities.
